Our story

The journey that gave rise
to the project.

Proyecto Q was born from the professional careers of its founders in Argentine and Colombian football. Their experience as players in both countries made it possible to precisely identify the particularities of the region’s talent and to understand, from the inside, the conditions needed to develop it.

Building on that knowledge, we began creating opportunities for promising young players to be scouted by professional institutions. We coordinated trials at Argentine clubs, managed the transfer of players to Colombian teams and progressively built a network of relationships with coaching staff, executives and youth developers in both countries.

On that foundation, the project’s first formal structures were created: Fundacoofisam and Academia Santo, which today bring together more than 1,200 players in development. Adding our own club in Santa Marta consolidated the operation and expanded the reach of our work.

Today, Proyecto Q operates as a sport group with four specialized units, its own methodology and an active network of alliances with recognized institutions in international football.

The group

Four specialties.
One shared purpose.

Through its four specialized units, Proyecto Q is dedicated to discovering, developing, representing and projecting young football talent.

01

Development

Youth academies

We work with more than 1,200 players between the ages of 4 and 17, organized into categories by age and development level. The 13-to-15 age range receives priority attention, as it is the key window for observation by professional clubs.

02

Scouting

Professional scouting

We identify players whose technical, physical and mental attributes match the demands of high performance. We work through evaluation camps, observation at partner clubs and the professional network built over years.

03

Representation

Career management

We guide each player’s career with a long-term, holistic vision, within the regulatory framework established by FIFA. We advise the player and their family at every stage, from the first professional opportunity to a consolidated career.

04

Social recruitment

Foundation

We extend our development work into settings where access to professional sport is limited. We scout talent in vulnerable communities and integrate those players into the group’s development structure.

The method

Argentine methodology
applied to talent development.

Methodology is the project’s main differentiator. The entire development structure works under Argentine football principles, coordinated by an Argentine head coach who oversees the planning of every age group.

The development process spans ages 4 to 17, organized into stages. The 13-to-15 range receives priority attention, as it is the period when professional clubs carry out their main scouting and signing processes.

Our goal is the complete development of the player: so that, upon reaching a professional stage, the athlete has the technical, physical and mental preparation needed to sustain it.

Working network

Agreements with recognized
international football institutions.

Proyecto Q operates within a network of agreements with leading institutions in Argentine and Colombian football. These alliances provide the operational backbone for scouting camps, evaluation stages and professional projection.

Development network

An ecosystem that integrates
clubs of origin.

We work under a collaborative model with each player’s clubs and academies of origin. We recognize that a talent’s early development is the result of the work of multiple institutions, and we structure our operation to reward that contribution.

Integration model

Agreements with clubs of origin

When a player joins the group’s development structure from another club or academy, a formal agreement is established with the institution of origin. Beyond the training rights set by regulation, it includes an economic share of any future transfer. The percentage is agreed case by case —typically between 10% and 30%— and documented in a framework agreement between the parties.

The development circuit

Every link, rewarded

Talent is identified at its club of origin, brought into Proyecto Q’s development structure, elevated through professional methodology and projected toward a competitive market. Every link in that chain receives the economic recognition corresponding to its contribution to the player’s development.

Experience

Market knowledge
and contacts that open doors.

Proyecto Q is led by two former professional players with careers in Argentine and Colombian football. This dual belonging is one of the group’s most important operational assets.

Market

Market knowledge

Our founders know the particularities of Colombian football from the inside, with deep roots in Santa Marta and an established presence at leading institutions in the country.

Network

Network of contacts

Active ties with coaching staff, sporting directors and agents at clubs in Argentina and Colombia, plus contacts at institutions in other markets.

Reach

Reach of projection

The focus is on Argentina and Colombia, but the contact structure makes it possible to open paths to other international markets when a player’s profile justifies it.

Project leadership

Two professional careers
at the service of young talent.

Proyecto Q is led by two former professional players with careers built at clubs in Argentina and Colombia. The complementarity of both paths is one of the project’s central assets.
